Gave second chance to Windows Beauty, VISTA. and this time, it lasts 2 weeks. But I spent much time on finding patches, updates, new version of software, and finally feel really tired on working on this OS. Windows 2000 needs 4 service packs to go stable, XP has 2. MS seems getting better, but time will tell
So if you are a trouble seeker, VISTA will definiately your choice, otherwise, keep away from it as far as it. and waiting for MS’ service pack or next version of VISTA, just like Win95, Win97, and Win98

Thanks to VS 2005 SP1 VISTA upgrade, VS 2005, one of my daily using software, can be run. But there are still maaaany issus with other softwares
1. Tortoisesvn has interface issue
2. MyGeneration cannot connect to SQL Server 2005 because of no MDAC 2.7 on VISTA

The beautiful VISTA has VERY HIGH LEVEL compatible issue, many “old” programs cannot run on VISTA well. The strangest thing is, event MS’ Visual Studio 2005 has a “known” and unsolved compatible issue
Since this afternoon, my vista keep crashing on explorer.exe with Event ID 1000,
“Faulting application Explorer.EXE, version 6.0.6000.16386, time stamp 0×4549b091, faulting module unknown, version 0.0.0.0, time stamp 0×00000000, exception code 0xc0000005, fault offset 0×74d84618, process id 0xeb4, application start time 0×01c77ec809c9349d.”
Googled for nearly an hour, nobody is sure for what caused this problem. I really fell enough with this pretty but useless vase. Goodby my Vista
